You are probably thinking... what do I have to do to get ready to have my albums made?

  • You play a very large role in the outcome of your album.
  • You must first organize photos and decide which ones you think you want put in your album (I'll help you pick out the final ones).
  • You must label all photos with dates, people and places (after all that is a large reason you are doing this in the first place). A post-it note works great on the back of each photo or use a fine sharpie (no ball point pens!!!). Most customers choose to take the completed album and a fine archival marker and label the pictures throughout the book.
  • You must either give me the journaling so that I can computer generate it or let me know to leave space on a particular page so that you can go back and journal in your own hand writing.
  • You must decide what photos if any you want enlarged or maybe converted to black and white images (or you can leave that up to me during the design process).
  • You must decide approximately how many pages you want in your album and what level of design you want on each page. You do not have to do all the same design levels...Mix and match or leave that up to me as I see fit.

Still feeling overwhelmed? On top of our initial consultation where I gather all the photos and information from you (which is included in my pricing), I am also available should you want me to help you get your project organized and choose the right pictures. See the pricing sheet for more detailed information on this.

The first time you look through your completed album, you will see that it was all worthwhile! You will feel a rush of emotions and maybe even a tear drop or too! I supply tissues when you pick up your album! Thank you for trusting me with your priceless memories.
